Ballard left home on Wednesday 04/26/2023 and was not heard from until Thursday afternoon when he contacted family and told them that his vehicle was stuck in a mud hole in Douglassville, Texas. A family member went to the scene and assisted Ballard in getting his vehicle out of the hole, but the vehicle had a blown tire and no spare. Ballard refused to leave the vehicle unattended. The next morning, family members went to the scene and found the vehicle unattended. Ballard's phone and wallet were in the vehicle, which was locked. The keys to the vehicle were not present. No contact has been had with Ballard since that time.
