The last time he communicated with family, he indicated he was on his way to West Virginia and would be home at 0300 hours on 07/31/22. The vehicle Mr. Surur was driving was located on 8/16/2022 by the U.S. Forest Services. The vehicle was unoccupied and locked, with no signs of foul play. An extensive search was done in the area with dogs, vehicles, and on foot, all to no avail. Mr. Surur's phone has been pinged numerous times to no avail. The last ping location was at 3549 Old Valley Pike, New Markert, Va, in Shenandoah County.
