Jason Heath last spoke with his family via phone call on 11/22/2021. Jason was set to leave Monroe County, Florida for the holidays on 11/23/2021 and his final destination was New Jersey. Jason was seen on video surveillance in the Sugar Loaf Key area, operating his 25 foot Panga vessel. Jason was the only passenger on board. Jason and his vessel has not been located since the time of reporting, following extensive searches of the ocean. A resident within the Sugarloaf Key Area has a direct view of Bow Channel. This resident advised he saw a vessel matching the description of Jason and the vessel coming into the Channel, possibly evading a storm rolling in behind it. Jason has been entered in FCIC/NCIC as missing and the vessel associated with his disappearance.
