A short time later Marcelina's grandmother called her on the telephone, at which time her grandmother heard Marcelina yelling for her friend/boyfriend to stop hitting her, at which time the phone was disconnected. Marcelina has not been seen or heard from since that time, and her whereabouts are unknown.
