Michael Camilletti

Retired Army Special Forces Colonel Michael Hugh Camilletti was last seen at his home in Standardville, Virginia on May 22, 2011. He was reported missing by a family member on June 12. On June 27, a West Virginia State Police Trooper located his vehicle parked off of Williams River Road in West Virginia. A note written by him was located in the vehicle stating that Camilletti was starting a hike on May 23 on the North-South Trail in the Cranberry Wilderness in the Monongahela National Forest and planned to be out of the woods four days later on May 27. Despite a search of the area by search and rescue teams, he was not located.
