Alec Cooke

Alec Cooke was an experienced surfer, and was last seen entering the water at Waimea Bay Beach Park for dawn patrol. Swells were 30 plus feet at the time, and Cooke failed to exit the water. His surfboard was later found ashore broken in half. An extensive ocean search was conducted however, Cooke was never recovered.
