Judson and six other divers went diving in Smitty's Cove in Whittier on 01-01-2000. The other six divers returned to their vehicles and realized that Judson had not returned to his vehicle. They then noticed dive lights and glow sticks floating out of the harbor. Searches of the area were unsuccessful in locating Judson.
