Aboard fishing vessel Camelot along with Joseph Knutson that departed the Sitka Harbor between 0900 and 1100 enroute to the fishing grounds located just outside Salisbury Sound. They were to return on 01/09/1986. After failing to show, a close friend of both individuals contacted the Coast Guard in Sitka. They activated a search and rescue on 01/13/1986. The search was suspended on 01/17/1986 as a result of no leads.
