The missing person was a passenger on TAG Airlines Flight 730 which departed the Cleveland, Ohio Burke Lakefront Airport at approximately 07:38 hours EST on 1/28/1970. The airplane was in route to Detroit City Airport with two crew members and seven passengers on board. The aircraft's beacon target disappeared from the Cleveland Air Route Traffic Control Center's radar at 07:49. It was later determined the aircraft had crashed into Lake Erie. The aircraft was destroyed and portions of it sank in 80 feet of water. The bodies of five passengers and two crew members were recovered and identified. The remaining two passengers are missing and presumed dead.
