Billy Elmore, 71

On 4/30/97, Billy left a note on the fridge for his wife, "Gone on a short trip to look for something- when I find it I will let you know.” A second note read, "I found it. Will not be back to pick anything up. The visit is over.” Billy is believed to have left in his Blue 1990 Dodge Pickup, WA Tag KINGBE. The vehicle was recovered in an abandoned storage unit approximately a year after his disappearance, unknown how it got there. A boat believed to belong to Billy was found on Lake Pend Oreille (Bonners County, Idaho) abandoned. Suspicious circumstances because the boat had a damaged hull and the accelerator was tied down in the throttle position. This occurred within the year of Billy's disappearance. Living relatives state they have not heard from Billy since he disappeared in 1997.
