Ms. Ferrell was reported missing by her biological mother to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department on Friday, March 15, 2019. She was entered into IDX and NCIC that same night. Ms. Ferrell's vehicle was located in a parking lot in the SE corner of W. 86th Street and Michigan Avenue in Indianapolis during the early morning hours of March 26, 2019. A severed human foot was recovered from a pond in Crown Point, Indiana on Monday, April 8, 2019, which was determined to have been Ms. Ferrell's.
