Patricia Hertell and William Hartenstien left from the Martinez Marina on the morning of 8/8/1981 to go fishing in Suisun Bay. Their boat was discovered by a fisherman near channel marker #8 on 8/11/81. Hartenstein's body was discovered on 8/14/81 on the north shore 1-1/2 miles east of Glen Cove Marina.
