MP's mother had not seen MP for at least ten years when she reported him missing. She talked with him on the phone 9/29/2006. He told her he didn't feel well and should go to the hospital but wasn't going to go. After not hearing from him for two weeks she tried to locate him. He was staying at an acquaintance's boat at the San Leandro Marina (marina is closed now). He had no permanent address.
