Mary is described as being easily confused but was still somewhat functional. Husband stated that he left at approximately 1 p.m. that day when he returned home, Mary was missing. She had left all items such as cell phone, credit cards, etc. at home. Friend stated that Mary had told him in the past that she had thought about going into the water and never coming back, but did not appear to be actively suicidal. An exhaustive search of the area occurred with negative results. All modes of transportation off the island were checked, with negative results. Mary has never been located.
