Javier Monico Alcocer
McAllen, TX

Javier Monico Alcocer was crossing the Mexican border to get to the United States. The last phone call was made July 31st. He told his wife that something had bit him in the arm, and that he was not feeling very well. The person that was helping him cross told us, that he told him he no longer wanted to keep going and according to him, he also had a fever. Javier also told him, that he was going to turn himself in to immigration. The only thing we know is that they had walked for about three hours away from McAllen and they still had approximately 2 more hours to go to get to where they were going to be picked up.
