Hannah Upp was last seen the morning of Thursday, September 14, 2017, leaving her home in the East End (Pillsbury Heights) of the island of Saint Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. It was in between Hurricane Irma and Maria. Her car was found on Sunday, September 17, at Sapphire Beach. In her car was all of her Identification, credit cards, passport, phone, money, all her valuables and all that would identify her was left behind. Her keys and sandals and sarong had been found down by the beach. A report was filed with Police, USVIPD, and extensive searching was done on Sunday, Sept. 17 and Monday Sept. 18, until the forces and vessels had to stand down because of the approach of Hurricane Maria. There have been many efforts by friends and by Search and Rescue Teams to locate Hannah, but she has not been found as of June 7, 2018.
