Almazan-Gonzalez was last seen in the company of her 40-year-old boyfriend at her Bluffton residence, where law enforcement found signs of a struggle. Her boyfriend was seen in the Savannah, Georgia area in the days following Almazan-Gonzalez's disappearance with fresh scratch marks on his face. He is the person of interest in Almazan-Gonzalez's disappearance and is native of Guatemala. He has yet to be located.
