On 08-09-2015 at 1830 hours,a witness observed Gregory VOIGHT enter the water at Pahoehoe Beach Park, in a kayak, load with a large backpack. U.S. Coast Guard was informed of the situation on 08-11-2015, after the concerned witness called them to report that the missing man's car had not be moved from the beach park parking lot. Hawaii Police Department was contacted to conduct an investigation. VOIGHT's family had not heard from him since June, 2015, friend's had not heard from him since 08-09-2015.
