Wilmer was traveling from Honduras to Houston. He had hurt his foot while in Honduras but believed he could walk with medicine. While walking to a pickup location where a car would take the group to Houston, someone in the group gave Wilmer medicine that made him sleepy and unable to walk. This was about a two hour walk from the pickup point. He was left behind near a ranch with cattle, under a bush, near a road. Wilmer was left with food and water, but has not been seen or heard from since.
