Ping Huang was a tourist visiting the United States from Taiwan. He was staying at a hotel with his tour group. He did not have family or friend in the tour group. On 1/29/99, the tour group was going to spend the day at Disneyland, and Huang stayed behind because he did not want to go. When the tour group returned from Disneyland Huang was no longer at the hotel and his baggage was no longer in his room.
