Ismael Gonzalez
Falfurrias, TX

Ismael was with a guide and a group of 4 or 5 individuals who had just crossed into Texas from Reynosa (Tamaulipas, MX). They crossed the border on Sunday May 17, 2015 and were driven south of the Falfurrias Border Checkpoint on Monday May 18th. They were dropped off south of the checkpoint to bypass it by foot. Supposedly, Ismael could not keep up with the group. The group stopped to rest for approximately 30 minutes and Ismael fell asleep. When the group was ready to continue, Ismael still did not feel well and decided to stay behind from the group and would attempt to turn himself in. He was supposedly approximately 1 mile east of the Falfurrias BP Checkpoint and .5 miles south, somewhere on the King Ranch (possibly Santa Fe ranch or pasture).
