We switched over to the new CaseTrace website last night — and if you’re seeing this this morning, welcome to the next chapter of what we’re building.

One quick note before you start exploring: the transition is not completely finished yet. Some pages are still being moved over to the new design and styling, so you may notice a few areas that look different from the rest of the site. We’re actively working through those remaining pages, and the full visual transition should be completed soon.

CaseTrace has always been about one core idea: helping more missing-person cases get seen, shared, and connected to the right source information. The new website is a big step forward in making that experience cleaner, faster, and more useful for the public.

What’s New

The biggest change is the overall experience.

The new homepage is designed to be more visual, more direct, and easier to use. Right away, you’ll notice the new swipe-through case cards, which let you quickly browse missing-person cases that need attention. Instead of digging through clutter, you can move case to case in a simple, focused way and keep the most important actions close at hand.

Each card is built to make awareness easier:

View the flyer quickly Copy and share the case Keep the official source visible Move through cases without losing momentum

We also made the site structure cleaner, with easier navigation to areas like:

Explore Alerts Agencies Media About

The goal is simple: make it easier for someone to arrive on CaseTrace and immediately understand what to do next.

A Better Way to Browse

Beyond the featured case cards, the new layout also makes it easier to browse cases in different ways.

Visitors can move through areas like:

All Cases Recently Added Nearby Browse by State Unsolved Alerts

That means whether you want to see what was just added, look for cases near your area, or explore long-term unsolved disappearances, the site is starting to give people a more flexible way to engage.

And that matters — because the easier it is to explore, the more likely it is that someone will stop, recognize a face, and share a case that otherwise may have been missed.

Built With Purpose

One thing that remains important to us is clarity.

CaseTrace is an independent awareness platform. We are not law enforcement, not a government agency, and not an official reporting system. Our role is to help increase visibility, point people toward source-connected case information, and make sharing more effective and responsible.

That’s why we continue to emphasize a simple message:

Share the flyer. Check the source. Avoid rumors.

We want awareness without confusion, and visibility without speculation.

What’s Coming Soon

This new website launch is not the finish line. It’s the foundation.

Along with completing the remaining page transitions into the new CaseTrace design, we’re continuing to build toward several larger features.

1. Expanded case browsing and discovery

We want the platform to make it even easier to surface cases by location, urgency, recency, and relevance.

2. Better alerts

The Alerts side of CaseTrace will continue to grow so people can follow cases and stay aware of missing-person activity that matters to them geographically.

3. Agency-focused tools

We’re building with the future in mind, including ways for agencies to have a stronger presence and better tools inside the platform.

4. Media and creator integration

A major part of the vision is connecting cases not just to official sources, but also to trusted media coverage and creator coverage. We want CaseTrace to become a place where awareness, reporting, and responsible storytelling can live together in a useful way.

5. Continued design and performance improvements

The site you see today is a major step forward, but it’s still evolving. We’ll continue moving the remaining pages into the new style, refining the experience, improving usability, and strengthening the platform as more tools and content are added.

This Is Just the Beginning

CaseTrace is still growing, but this new site is a real step toward the bigger vision.

We’re not just posting flyers. We’re trying to build a better public-facing layer for missing-person awareness — one that helps cases get seen, helps people share responsibly, and helps bring more structure to a system that often feels fragmented.

So if you haven’t yet, take a look around the new website today.

Browse some cases. Share one that needs attention. Explore what’s new.

And if you run into a page that hasn’t caught up with the new look yet, know that we’re still working behind the scenes to finish the transition.

Because every better tool, every better page, and every better share creates one more chance for someone to be seen.

Welcome to the new CaseTrace. More is coming soon.
