CaseTrace Update: New Features, New Ways to Help, and What's Coming Next

When I launched CaseTrace, the goal was simple: help more people see the faces of those who are still missing.

Over the past several weeks, thousands of people have joined us in that mission by sharing official missing-person flyers, following our updates, and helping bring attention to cases that may otherwise have gone unseen.

Today, I wanted to share some of the exciting updates we've been working on—and give you a look at what's coming next.

Growing the Largest Missing-Person Awareness Platform Possible

CaseTrace continues to expand its database of official missing-person cases, making it easier for the public to discover, search, and share cases from across the United States.

Our goal has never been to replace law enforcement or investigative organizations. Instead, we aim to be a bridge—helping official information reach more people through modern technology and social media.

Every shared flyer represents another opportunity for someone to recognize a face, remember a detail, or simply help keep a case visible.

New Improvements Across CaseTrace

Over the past several weeks, we've introduced some improvements designed to make CaseTrace even more useful for families, advocates, and the public.

Recent updates include:

  • Improved case discovery and browsing
  • Faster flyer generation and sharing
  • Enhanced mobile experience
  • Expanded database of official missing-person cases
  • Ongoing improvements to our agency tools
  • Behind-the-scenes work to make adding and managing cases faster and more reliable

We're constantly refining the platform based on feedback and ideas from our growing community.

A Growing Community

One of the most encouraging developments has been watching the CaseTrace community grow.

In just the past couple of months, our Facebook community has helped generate hundreds of thousands of views on official missing-person posts, with thousands of shares helping cases reach audiences far beyond their original communities.

Those numbers aren't just statistics—they represent real people taking a moment to stop, look, and share.

Every share helps keep a face visible.

Coming Soon: The CaseTrace Podcast

We're also excited to announce the next chapter for CaseTrace.

The CaseTrace Podcast is coming soon.**

This won't be a true crime podcast.

It won't focus on sensational headlines or speculation.

Instead, it will focus on the people behind the flyers.

We'll be sitting down with:

  • Families of missing persons
  • Advocates
  • Law enforcement professionals
  • Search organizations
  • Experts in the missing-person community
  • Others working to bring missing loved ones home

Every episode will allow families to tell their loved one's story in their own words while helping raise awareness for active cases.

We hope that these conversations will educate, inspire, and most importantly, keep more cases in the public eye.

Looking Ahead

We're only getting started.

Future plans for CaseTrace include expanding awareness tools, improving resources for families and agencies, growing our educational content, and continuing to build technology that makes it easier for people to discover and share official missing-person cases.

Every improvement we make is guided by one question:

Will this help more people see these faces?**

If the answer is yes, we'll keep building.

Thank You

Whether you've shared one flyer or one hundred, followed our journey from the beginning, or just recently discovered CaseTrace, thank you.

Your support has helped create a community that believes every missing person deserves to be remembered.

Together, we'll continue doing what we can to keep these faces visible until they're found.

Share the flyer. Check the source. Avoid rumors.**
